THINGS YOU NEED :
4 SLICES OF CARROTS 
4 CUPS OF WATER
1 DRIED PEPPERMINT OR TEA BAG 

BOIL THE 4 SLICES OR CARROTS WITH 4 CUPS OF WATER AND THE DRY MINT OR TEA BAG . TURN THE HEAT TO MEDIUM - LOW AND COOK IT FOR ABOUT 15 MIN UNTIL THE CARROTS BECOME SOFT (IF YOU USE A TEA BAG REMOVE IT ) MIX ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER UNTIL SMOOTH . YOU CAN ALSO ADD A SQUEEZE  SOME LEMON FOR FLAVOR .

MY REVIEW ON TRESemmé part 2

 So i made a review on the TRESemmé before so this is my part 2 on the products I've used from TRESEmmé . I've always love TRESemmé products i have natural curly hair so my hair doesn't do well with other products so TRESemmé has been the only brand that has kept my hair nice and healthy .

SO THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPAY TO USE AFTER DRYING OUT MY HAIR SINCE I DO USE A DIFFUSER TO DRY MY AIR I DO NEED SOMETHING TO PROTECT MY HAIR FROM BEING DAMAGE FROM HEAT AND IT ALSO PERFECT FOR HEAT STYLING AND THE SMELL IS WONDERFUL.

THIS WILL BE ONE OF MY SECOND FAVORITE MOUSSE OF ALL TIME BECAUSE THIS MOUSSE ACTUALLY KEEPS MY CURLS IN PLACE AND KEEPING THEM WITH OUT GETTING ANY FRIZZ I GO TO BED AND MY HAIR LOOKS THE SAME WAY WHEN I DID IT AND IT HAS GOOD MAXIMUM HOLD SO WHEN THEY MEAN 24 HR BODY THEY MEAN IT . EASY NO COOK PLAY-DOUGH RECIPE ..

SO SUMMER IS HERE KIDS ARE IN SUMMER VACATION SO YOU WANT THEM ENTERTAIN DURING THERE VACATION SO I CAME ACROSS THIS D.I.Y THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE KIDS LOVE PLAY-DOUGH AND PLAY-DOUGH IS A BIT EXPENSIVE TO BUY .. SO INSTEAD WHY NOT HAVE THEN HELP YOU MAKE THERE OWN PLAY- DOUGH ITS FUN AND KIDS WILL LOVE THIS IDEA ! PLAY DOUGH IS ALSO ALLOWS KIDS TO EXCISE THERE THEIR FINGERS FOR PRE -WRITING SKILLS ..

* Warning: Be careful of allergies and sensitivities. Some young children have difficulty and are sensitive to flour.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • Optional: add a few drops of food coloring and/or scent
Allow the children to help mix the ingredients with the exception of the boiling water. Once the water is poured in and stirred around a bit then it will have cooled off enough for them to mix the entire amount. to store the play dough keep in ziplock bag or a plastic container .

REVIVE TIRED FEET AND GET RID OF TOXINS FROM YOUR FEET WITH THIS D.I.Y FOR YOUR FEET .....

So we all reach a certain point of the day were we just want to throw our shoes off and rest out feet from standing up so much or walking so much ... so little did you know stress gets to out feet to the point were out veins start popping out that shows how tired out feet are.. so this is one good way to revive your feet and remove the toxins from our feet to get them feeling relaxed ...

THINGS YOU NEED: 
  • 1 cup of Epsom salt – this is a common ingredient found in detox baths
  • 1 cup of sea salt
  • 2 cups of baking soda
Just mix this together and store in an airtight container. When you are ready to detox your feet, put ¼ cup of the mixture in a foot basin and fill with water as hot as you can stand it. You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to make the detox bath and your feet smell great. Just soak your feet for about half an hour. The salts work with the hot water to draw toxins out of your system and to help your feet feel refreshed.

D.I.Y FACE MASK ...

SO THIS IS A FACE MASK SUITABLE FOR ALL FACE TYPES VERY EASY TO PREPARE THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO REJUVENATE AND CLEANSE YOUR FACE ..IT ALSO HELPS REMOVE REDNESS FROM YOUR FACE

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
  • 1 tbsp oatmeal, finely ground
  • 1 tbsp live, organic yogurt (skip the flavored stuff)
  • A few drops of honey
Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together.
Warm a few drop of honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.
Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.
Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water. Follow with a warm washcloth. Apply moisturizer.

D.I.Y HOMEMADE SPA TREATMENTS YOU CAN ENJOY AT HOME ...


So sometimes we all deserve some time to relax .. going to  a spa may be a little expensive so these are some homemade spa treatments you can do at home to give your self that time alone to relax and give your self that spa treatment only maid at home ...

COFFEE BODY SCRUB 
  • 2 cups of coarsely ground coffee
  • 1/2 cup raw sugar or sea salt
  • 2-3 T massage oil
Mix all ingredients together. Take a hot shower to moisten your skin and open your pores. Using wide, circular motions, rub the coffee exfoliant onto your skin with strong, even pressure. Shower off, pat skin dry, and apply a thin layer of your favorite body lotion.


ALMOND BODY SCRUB -FOR THE END OF THE SUMMER a
So by the end of the summer sum of us are peeling from all the sun burns and need a body scrub for it so this almond body scrub will help your skin remove all that dry skin .. 
  • 2/3 cup ground almonds
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon of herbs (lavender, chamomile, etc) (optional)
  • Plain yogurt, milk, or buttermilk, sufficient to make a paste
  • Essential Oils for scent (optional)
Combine the dry ingredients in a blender or food processor until they are reduced to a coarse meal. Keep this “scrub base” in a glass jar with a screw top in your refrigerator until ready to use. When you want to use the scrub base, scoop out 1/4 cup into a small bowl, and stir in enough of the liquid ingredients (vary it by what you have on hand — yogurt and milk are best, but water works) to make a paste. Yogurt and milk are natural exfoliates known as alpha hydroxy acids, and they will slough off dead skin cells even without the scrub. Scoop up the paste with your hands or a washcloth, and rub over your body to exfoliate peeling skin.  Rinse thoroughly.



BEACH SAND FOOT SCRUB 

So i remember my mom telling me that SAND is a great way to use to remove dead skin from your feet .. i never thougth it was true but when i tried it on my feet WOW! it actually worked .
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola oil
  • 2 Tablespoons dry beach sand
  • 3-5 drops rosemary oil
When going to the beach, take a small vial of ingredients with you:  2 tablespoons of canola oil (or use your suntan oil!), and, a small vial of rosemary oil — or premix and take one vial.
Once at the beach, use an empty container (a soda cup is fine) to mix the ingredients together. Mix into a paste.  Massage sand scrub onto feet (and elbows), concentrating especially on problem areas.  Rinse off in the foamy waves, pat dry with your beach towel.

So i had done a D.I.Y on detox water of lemons ginger, mint and cucumber . so this is another detox water to cleanse out your body . the benefits of apple cinnamon water is the APPLE lowers you LDL ( bad cholesterol , it straitens and protects your bones it also helps prevent several types of cancer .It also benefits to as sits weight loss it also helps you give you a boost to exercise and helps you remove toxins that come from high protein foods .
The cinnamon helps you regulate your blood sugar levels it also helps you boost your cognitive function and memory . Its also a natural remedy for migraines and headaches . it helps inhibit bacterial growth . it also helps reduce proliferation of leukemia and lymphoma cells .controls insulin cholesterol levels by decreasing the bad cholesterol while increasing the good cholesterol it also helps reduce the creation of fat .

NUTRITIONAL STATS :
Calories = 0
Fat = 0
Fiber = 0
Protein = 0
Carbs = 0


So its simple to make this detox water just get any kind of apple (make sure you wash your apple well ) you may remove the skin off the apple but the skin of the apple has alot of nutrients on it that will help infuse the water . after you have washed your apple and cut them into slices fill up a pitcher with water half way , add the apple and the cinnamon sticks and continue adding water .(tip: its best to use a pitcher with grates to prevent the apple and cinnamon sticks falling into your cup) let the water infuse over night to make the water cold it taste better cold :) . 



THIS IS A REMINDER WHEN YOU START GETTING SMALL PIECES OF APPLES ONTO YOUR GLASS AND THE APPLES TURN BROWN ITS TIME TO PUT IN NEW APPLES .
