Summer hair care ..

D.I.Y SUMMER HAIR CARE 

Summer is right around the corner and that means heading to the beach 

and we know what that does to our hair , so to keep our hair from De-hydrating 

well this D.I.Y will help you rehydrate your hair for this summer 

its very affordable and organic no chemicals use for this D.I.Y. 

WHAT YOU NEED :

1 can of Coconut milk 

Hydrates and De-frizzes!

 1 Ripe avocado 

Replaces nutrients that chlorine 

steals from hair 

2 tablespoons of honey 

Adds shine 

2 tablespoon of olive oil 

acts as a barrier against salt water and chlorine 

Take all the ingredients and mix them into a blender until you get the 

consistency of a smoothie 

(this will last in the fridge for about 2 weeks if you keep it refrigerated ! )

apply from the root to the tip generously 

braid your hair or you can put it up to a bun .. for best results do this 

before a day at the beach or pool it will help your hair stay healthy all day long. 

leave in as much you like but for best results 2-3 hrs.

D.I.Y TO GET THAT CURL ON YOUR EYELASHES

SO WE REACH A POINT WERE WE WANT OUR LASHES TO LOOK NICE AND LONG AND CURLED AND SOMETIMES DON'T ACHIEVE THAT . WE USE SO MANY DIFFERENT MASCARAS TO GET THAT NATURAL CURL. HERE'S A D.I.Y TO GET THAT CURL ON YOU LASHES. 

THINGS YOU NEED :

*MASCARA - you can use any kind of mascara my fave mascara to use is LASH BLAST VOLUME by COVERGIRL or LASH ACCELERATOR MASCARA by RIMMEL LONDON 

*EYELASH CURLER 

*BLOW DRYER

BEFORE I GET STARTED ON HOW TO DO THIS D.I.Y YOU HAVE TO START OF WITH A CLEAN FACE INCLUDING YOUR EYELASHES. AFTER YOU HAVE CLEANED YOUR FACE YOU CAN GO AND OUT YOUR MAKEUP ON (EXCEPT LIPSTICK) BEFORE DOING YOUR LASHES.

USE YOUR BLOW DRYER TO HEAT UP YOUR EYELASH CURLER BUT NOT TO MUCH! REMINDER THE SKIN AROUND YOUR EYES ARE VERY SENSITIVE . TO TEST OUT HOW HOT THE EYELASH CURLER PLACE IT ON YOUR LIP OR UNDER SIDE OF YOUR WRIST, IT SHOULD JUST FELL WARM. YOU MAY HAVE TO RE-HEAT IN BETWEEN CURLING EYELASHES.

Now start at the base of your lashes as close to the lid as you can get without pinching. Press and hold there for a few seconds, then slowly move the curler up to the lash ends lightly pulsing as you go.  If you press really hard at the mid point of the lashes, they’ll just curl back towards the eyelid in an unflattering way. Then repeat if necessary.

 Place your wand right at the base and lift up on the lases and hold for a few seconds.you like two add a second coat on your lashes just wait for the first coat to dry and then apply the second coat .

AND A SCRUB

MIX BAKING SODA AND COCONUT OIL TOGETHER AND SCRUB UNDER YOUR ARMS. THE BAKING SODA GENTLY EXFOLIATES THE SKIN REMOVING ANY DARK ROUGH MAKING YOUR ARMPITS SOFTER AND SMOOTHER .

TO LIGHTEN YOUR ARMPITS YOU WILL NEED TO EXFOLIATE YOUR ARMPITS WITH EITHER A LOOFAH OR A SCRUB, TO HELP REMOVE ANY DRY/ ROUGH SKIN.
YOU WILL NEED
GRAM FLOUR (BESAN)
MILK
LEMON
PINCH OF TURMERIC 
MIX ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, APPLY TO THE AREA AND RINSE OFF AFTER 15 MIN
 THE FLOUR HELPS CLEANSE THE SKIN AND THE LEMON AND MILK HELP LIGHTEN BRIGHTEN THE SKIN
